I began this journey in the middle of the pandemic!  Can you believe it, travel in the middle of a pandemic??  In the end, it was the best thing I've ever done.  I spent months training and preparing so that when travel came back, I would be absolutely ready to create beautiful memories. 

I love travel!  I love planning!  I love problem solving!  All of these are perfectly suited to being a GREAT agent!  Let me assure you, if I haven't been where I am sending you personally, I will not send you there until I have educated myself!  

My travels as a young mom were strictly limited to our beautiful United States.  My son did gymnastics and we traveled to nationals yearly.  San Jose, Virginia Beach, Kansas City, Memphis....we packed everything up and made it a vacation!  Then I fell in love with destination travel.  Jamaica, Mexico, The Bahamas, Dominican Republic, Italy, Greece...something about experienceing the culture of others touches my heart.

The name Get Gone Travel Co. is deeply personal to me. Years ago, when we were preparing to move from New Mexico to Florida, my brother-in-law (someone who means the world to me) started telling us to "Get Gone!" It wasn't meant as a dismissal. It was his loving, playful way of encouraging us to embrace a new adventure.

Over the years, that phrase became part of our family's everyday language. My husband even has it on his Florida license plate! Naturally, when it came time to name my travel business, it just felt like the perfect fit.

To me, "Get Gone" means leaving the ordinary behind, saying yes to new experiences, and making memories you'll be talking about for years to come.
